Dude Films A Pride Of Lions Taking Down A Massive Buffalo Next To His Car

Ahmed Ismail, 38, was lucky enough to watch this incredible hunt in the Kruger National Park. The 38-year-old recorded the whole encounter a few meters away from his vehicle. His kids also witnessed this once-in-a-lifetime sighting.

Ahmed narrated the whole story to LatestSighting.

When he was driving in the Kruger National Park, they knew that they had got the chance they wanted. They spotted a pride of lionesses chasing a trail of buffaloes.

Three young buffaloes were running for their lives. The herd of big cats was in stalk-mode. One of the predators left the herd and followed the buffalos in an attempt to separate one buffalo from the group.

Soon a fight started between the big cats and the Buffaloes. In a few moments, the Buffaloes gave up and ran away, leaving the tourists disheartened. They thought they had missed the opportunity, and that this was a failed attempt on the part of the wild cats. They had no idea what they were going to experience next. This was going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for them.

Ahmed heard squealing from behind and turned back to find out what it was. He saw many big cats attacking a wild buffalo. The Buffaloes were 6 in total. A few moments later, a male lion showed up on the spot. He sank his teeth into the side of the animal to take it down. His strong grip forced the buffalo to lie down on the ground. Ahmed’s wife and kids gave difference reactions to the sight.

Ahmad’s wife was shivering and crying as they saw the buffalo getting killed. He considered himself lucky enough to watch a live kill. At the same time, he felt sorry for the poor animal that was about to lose its life.

Unlike Ahmad, his kids aged 9 and 12 were quite excited. This was an incredible sight for them. His youngest daughter also showed her excitement. She was more interested in the young cubs, though.

They stayed there to watch the beasts eat up the buffalo. The buffalo struggled a lot to save its life from a herd of 21 lionesses. This encounter was something they had never seen before. From their excitement, it’s was clear that they thoroughly enjoyed their tour.

The feast continued for around an hour and 20 minutes. Some of the cats were still enjoying the food while others were lying on the ground to take a nap. Maybe they ate too much to walk. However, they looked quite happy and satisfied.

Ahmed loves nature and wild animals and goes to the Kruger National Park on a regular basis. However, this was the first time he was lucky enough to see this type of hunt right in front of his eyes. According to the Ismail’s family, it’s the best day of their lives.
